A new pair of eagles have moved into the hatchery territory and are busy working on N1. For now the The Raptor Resource Project are calling them HM (Hatchery Mom) and HD (Hatchery Dad). This is a massive bald eagle nest. These eagles are nesting on private property north of Decorah, Iowa. Their nest is located in a white oak tree in a scrap of forest bordering a valley.
